We are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join our Quality Department.

Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Pay: $65,000 – $130,000 per year, based on experience

Core Skills:

  • Supervisory responsibilities to Inspectors, Lead Inspectors, and Quality Assistant
  • Help program Net-Inspect for SPC Data Collection.
  • Create production part approval process (PPAP) and in-process inspections plans (IPIP).
  • Ensures that all employees are aware of and work to the Quality Policy.
  • Serves as the Management Representative during all AS9100 activities.
  • Cooperates with other management personnel in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures, Work Instructions, and goals.
  • Manages the Preferred Supplier Program and Scorecard.
  • Oversee and manage the utilization of Net-Inspect for SPC Data Collection.
  • Oversee and manage FAIRs and DIRs per AS9102.
  • Ensure all products conform with customer requirements.
  • Manage the Rev-Up process for customer part numbers.
  • Design, implement, manage, and sustain the use of Inspection Checklists, and Machine / Operations Sketches.
  • Visits and confers with representatives of approved suppliers to obtain information related to supplier quality and capacity of supplier to meet production requirements.
  • Reviews technical problems and recommends solutions to problems or changes in procedures.
  • Reviews technical publications, articles, and abstracts to stay abreast of technical developments in the manufacturing industry.
  • Manages the control of nonconforming product and issues Non-Conforming Material Reports, Corrective Action Requests, RMAs, CPARs, and Waiver / Deviations as necessary.
  • Manages the Gage Database and Calibration Program for all inspection hand tools and inspection equipment; maintain calibration records and schedule calibration events.

Experience and Education

Years of Experience: 2-5

Type of Experience:

Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or two to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
