Tool Technician Details

Job Summary

Tool Technician for our Burbank facility. The ideal applicant is organized, efficient and takes initiative.

Core Skills

• Continual lifting, lowering and sliding of packages of parts into specific locations.
• May be required to load and unload the company truck when necessary.
• Ensure adequate flow of priority jobs through the shop.
• Physically and systematically transfer inspection gages to any location required based on request.
• Interact with Lead Inspector, Quality Manager, Production Manager and / or President as needed to resolve quality issues on new products.
• Work with Manufacturing staff as needed to verify inspection and gage set-up.
• Assist Tooling Department in pre-kitting production and tool delivery.
• Assist with data collection and measurement setup on the shop floor.
• Assist with general administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, etc.
• Maintain gages for accuracy and cleanliness.
